This is a platform upgrade release. Payara, Solr, and Java have been upgraded. No features have been added to the Dataverse software itself. Only a handful of bugs were fixed.

The Dataverse Project Team has just returned from the 9th annual Dataverse Community Meeting that took place at the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, from June 5th to 7th, 2023. This regional community meeting marked a significant milestone as it paved the way for the participation of the 100 Dataverse installations worldwide in hosting future meetings. The 2024 Community Meeting will be hosted by The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center...
The cvs,conf,v7 conference held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 17-20 saw the participation of The Dataverse Project team, the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), Datacite, and Borealis Dataverse Consortium. This was a significant moment as it marked the first time the conference was held in the Southern Hemisphere with the aim of encouraging greater involvement of the Latin American community....
